This is NOT a video or pdf, this is for a live in-store class, you MUST be able to get to Quilt N Go at the scheduled time to attend this class.
In this basic class you will learn how to make 1 6" square quadrant of the 12" Vintage Sunburst block to practice beginning paper piecing techniques.
Class fee will include the foundation paper pattern you will be using plus extra papers to make one wall hanging.
Extra paper pads will be available for purchase after the class.
Supplies:
-Sewing Machine in good working order
(Leave your old needle in the machine PLUS bring a fresh needle!)
-12" Add a quarter ruler
-Paper scissors (NOT your good fabric scissors!)
-Mini iron with small wool mat (if you have one) or a wooden finger iron or seam roller
-Rotary Cutter and small mat
-Basic sewing supplies
-Pencil

Fabric requirements for ONE 6" square quadrant
-6 6x6 squares of light fabric
-4 6x6 squares of dark fabric
Use all different fabrics for a scrappy look, or two different colors for a modern look!
NOTE: Feel free to bring extra material in case you get your quadrant completed during the class!
FOOD AND DRINK POLICY
You may bring food (snacks or a lunch) as long as the food isn't overly messy (nothing saucy, drippy, splashy, etc.)
Quilt N Go has a microwave and mini fridge that we can store small things in (things like a sandwich, carrot sticks, hard boiled eggs, etc.)
You may bring a drink AS LONG AS IT IS IN A BOTTLE THAT CAN BE CLOSED.
PLEASE, NO STANLEY CUPS OR ANYTHING SIMILAR WITH A STRAW THAT WILL LEAK IF IT IS KNOCKED OVER.
No one means to, but accidents happen and we want to keep everyone's supplies, sewing machines, and fabric safe so if you bring a drink it MUST be a bottle that can be sealed!
If you can't turn it upside down and shake it with NO LEAKING, please select a different bottle!
