Did you know?
We carry klutz gloves, and they help prevent you from cutting yourself while rotary cutting! Great for the accident prone or young sewist alike. As quoted by Fon's and Porter's: "Stitches belong in quilts, not fingers! Sharp cutters wear Klutz!"
1. They are made of stainless steel and synthetic fiber
2. One glove fits right or left hand
3. Natural rubber dots for gripping
4. wear on your non-cutting (ruler) hand
5. comfortable to wear
6. machine washable
You may know we carry quilting gloves (they are great for free motion quilters, but even if you don't free motion they will keep you from getting hand cramps by giving you some grip to help guide your fabric) but if you don't like the feeling of gloves on your hands for long periods of time, the "Quilter's Tips" are a great alternative for you! They go right on the tips of your fingers. Here are some perks to Quilter's Tips:
1. Use on fingers that need some grip
2. Great for free motion quilting or everyday sewing
3. Just enough protection to easily pull a needle
4. Soft flexible plastic lets you feel your work
5. One size fits all 6/pack
Here are the next nine bolts of fabric! Aren't they pretty? They are all Kim Diehl fabrics this week, from her line "Gratitude and Grace".
Our next class is a Back basting needle turn applique class.
We only have TWO spots left if you are interested!
If you do hand applique and don't know about this technique, you NEED to get in on this class! Ruth has been doing hand applique for 40 years, and has been using the back basting needle turn method for the last 5 years and swears she will never use another technique for hand applique again. It saves time, energy, material, and headaches.
